The title of the article is just #Clickbait.

If you read the article, as I just did, it just says that the researchers used AI to analyze past crime data to predict the probability of further crimes of a particular type occuring w/in a particular period of time w/in the areas in which the data was collected, which is no more than an advanced form of statistical analysis.

So, unlike the clairvoyants in the movie #TheMinorityReport, their model could not predict when or by whom a specific crimes would be committed. So, it is really much ado about nothing.🤷
