An Indonesian peacekeeper stationed inside the UNIFIL watchtower in Naqoura, South Lebanon, provided a first-hand account of the moment an Israeli Merkava tank launched a projectile targeting the UN peacekeepers who were in intensive care for three days following the attack.

United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres warned that any attacks against peacekeepers may constitute a war crime.

“Two children died at the last functioning hospital in Gaza after Israeli fire hit oxygen equipment, Gaza’s health ministry said on Friday.

"Two children have died in the intensive care unit after the hospital's generators failed and the oxygen station was targeted," the statement by Gaza's health ministry reads.“
