An irksome calico on the front porch as I'm trying to make lace has decided her best path is right across my work and right into my face. Mostly you can see her giant head right in front of me, she's got one paw right between my lace bobbins and you can't see much else because she's in the way.

White woman in 18th century American costume (yellow and green striped bedgown, white linen ruffled hat stuffed with cotton to look poofy). I have a black gauze shawl with black lace trim on the bottom over top of my outfit. I made the lace but not the gauze part. I am seated at a dining table. In front of me is my lace pillow with dozens of bobbins making more black silk lace. My colleague's pillow is off to the left a smidge. We are at a dining room table in an 18th century house with period furniture and tapestry and print stuff on the walls. The dining room table has a filet lace large table cloth on it. It has a tureen filled with flowers in the center.
