Is the circulation of money dangerous for the social stability of societies?
The following experiment was carried out by scientists. A group of monkeys were given coins and taught to exchange them for grapes. The monkeys understood this and exchanged their coins for grapes. When the price was high they only bought a few grapes and when the price went down they bought more. After a while, however, the males kept back some coins and collected them. They then gave these coins to the females and let's just say the females were very friendly to the males in return. The females in turn bought grapes in return. So the monkeys understood the money and service cycle.
However, the Ethics Council, which supervised the experiment, also prohibited its continuation at the time. The reason given was that the money cycle destroys the social structure of the monkeys.
I have to say how lucky we are that we have banned the monkeys from using money.
