Can't they cross-check the #FAA database? Don't they have #RemoteID data? Or was that burden just theater and a giant waste of tax payer resources?

Again criminal idiots do the damage to safety of others and gov will place more burdens on law abiding folks.

Great summary of where the old school #rc #aircraft #hobby is at. I've been #ama member for 15 of last ~30 years but now see them as mostly hindrance but Im agreeing with authors that they still provide some value to the hobby.

The #flitetest and various #fpv #racing organizations are taking over initiative to get new people into the hobby.
