I had an Apple PowerCD back in the day.
It was really slow -- specifically, it was a single speed CD-ROM drive. And as a reminder to you young folks, single speed CD-ROM drive read speed was 0.15 megabytes per second (Compare that to today's NVMe drives that have a sustained read speed of 7500-14500 megabytes per second).
But hey, like everything Apple, it looked really cool!

I've seen some stories recently about Gen Z buying old digital cameras. And I know from my Gen Z teenagers that they are into buying cassette tapes now too. I feel like whatever retro tech...cool-as-heck.blog
