Montana friends, how do we feel about ballot initiative C-130? To cap property tax increases at 2% annually?
Property taxes are a high visibility issue here, but I worry that this will significantly decrease revenue to the state govt. Also will this benefit wealthy landowners more than the average homeowner?

The distinction has a lot of practicalities, direct and indirect, but they're commonly confused.
We'd do much better to be disciplined about how we percieve these.
