I heard a commotion and was awake in an instant. It was early and not very light.
Poor Summer woke up with a stomach upset.
She actually tried to run for the shower but didn't quite make it.
So the rug cleaner got started even before the coffee maker. Laundry and rugs were rolled up and deposited in the laundry room.
It's all good.
After the clean up I came downstairs and could hear my husband telling Summer that he loved her and that everyone has accidents. I asked him if they were ok and he said that he just wants her to know that she isn't in trouble and is loved. They were cozy together wrapped into a sweet hug.
Summer didn't want to leave me out so now it's my turn for some sweet Summer attention.
I suspect Summer knows that she is loved no matter what.
