What the hell is going on here? One of my #macOS started having issues connecting to sites and I realised it was because the time was around 5 years off. I tried a few different time servers but they all seemed to report the same wrong time.

I then manually set the correct time and on re-enabling automatic updates, it goes right back to 2020 again?

If I look out the window I do not see people walking around in masks so I am pretty sure I am not back to the heart of the COVID-19 pandemic

@FediThing Well that is the thing. As said I tried several time servers. They all result in the wrong time. Also if Apple's default time server was wrong there would be chaos given hw many have Apple devices. So somehow my machine must be doing a wierd local offset or -5 years.
