I missed "Focus Follows Mouse" (a.k.a. "Sloppy Focus") from #Linux when using my work #macos laptop. Then discovered this marvel - AutoRaise - which does the same thing. 😍

Agent: “The software to disarm the crazy scientists’ doomsday device only runs on #MacOS8 but I’m too young to know how to install that, we’re … doomed.”
Ben: “Maybe not, kid!”

Ben: “You don’t have spare PRAM battery, do you?”

I wonder how long I have been carting this around without the associated computer. #MacOS

Good #LibreOffice news:

"Patrick Luby (NeoOffice) fixed issues related to the transparency-to-alpha rework, fixed a Skia issue related to a changed default, fixed horizontal swiping and scrolling when using an RTL UI, made it possible to encrypt files with using public GPG keys with unknown Ownertrust on macOS and fixed macOS crashes"

This is item # 27 in the monthly dev / qa report: https://qa.blog.documentfoundation.org/2024/04/11/qa-dev-report-march-2024/

And it means that for the first time for as long as I can recall, #OpenPGP in @LibreOffice on #macOS is in an actual usable state 😮

Kudos Patrick for your persistence in addressing the nasty issues around this implementation.

@Little Snitch What could be going wrong? 5.7.4 is not showing in the menubar on macOS 14.4.1.

Settings > Network Filter > On
Show status in menubar > Enabled
Settings > Monitor > Show network activity in menu bar > Enabled

But LS is not seen. Seems to be an ongoing #LittleSnitch issue on #macOS #Sonoma:

Little Snitch Process is constantly at ~99% CPU.

Manually open Little Snitch Agent as suggested in the reddit thread did not help.

Funny, when connecting the mac to an external monitor the menubar item does show.
