Good morning to readers; #Kyiv remains in Ukrainian hands.

Many Ukrainian cities pause each day for a minute to honor the fallen, though no law has passed to mandate it at the national level.

At 9:00 a.m. #Ukraine paused.

People stand still, clutching portraits of their loved ones to their chests. Cars on the road have their engines turned off, drivers solemnly standing alongside, their hands over their hearts.
