perhaps its much better and effective for authorities to find other ways to combat child abuse. Ways that respect the privacy of all eu residents. remember that child abuse was there long before all digital means were available on this scale and nobody talks about the expected effectiveness of applying these privacy invasive methods.

it isn't about protecting children as they often cite, thousands of girls were raped in England by mostly Pakistanis with the knowledge of the government.

We are trying to combat hysteria (think of the children!) with logic, it's never going to work. Somebody plastering a few billboards with a local authority figure and the comment "Send your wife's latest nudes to him Yes/No" would have turned that hysteria right back at them.
⇧
