doesn't Waymo have a whole platoon of remote control drivers in the Philippines?

these cars may be driving themselves while empty but the liability of doing so with a passenger is too great. if they didn't have humans overseeing the cars, anybody could get into the car and rip them apart.

it’s #journalism malpractice to say the car called 911. the car didn't. there was a Waymo employee somewhere making that decision.
