I don’t recall seeing Chicken mushrooms this high up. And if you zoom in, LOTS of bugs.

Large dead tree (snag) still standing, its top and bottom not shown in photo. The middle part of the tree had seven Chicken mushroom fruiting bodies bulging out of the dark. The mushrooms are pale to dark orange and grown like wavy shelves. The mushrooms are well past their peak and if zoomed in, there are hundreds of tiny black flies on the undersides. In the background are deciduous trees with sunny green leaves.
