The Software Freedom Conservancy has introduced the OpenWrt One, an $89 Wi-Fi router designed for open-source firmware.
This router allows users to modify and update its software freely, with a switch for updating different parts of its flash memory.
It is a dual-band Wi-Fi 6 router with a gigabit ethernet LAN port, USB-A and USB-C ports, and PoE support. It comes with 1GB RAM and 3 x 3 MIMO support on the 5GHz band.
