Would a "presidential treason" emergency procedure exist in government? Guess not. Then there is what is in the Constitution, and that seems.. messy.

We already saw that there is now no such thing, as Trump escaped punishment for his coup attempt in early 2021.

In theory congress should have punished him but Republicans refused to do so.

I read an article about how in countries that have been democracies for so long, there's hardly any perception of how fragile democracy is. In countries that had coups and dictatorships there's deep awareness and more prompt and broad action.

In newspapers you read that if the regime ignores the judicial branch, that there is a "constitutional crisis". Well, yes, or rather the constitution is near dead at that point. And a democracy only for show (literally in case of T)
