No AI in email! ✅

That's what we at Tuta stand for - and #Microsoft has just proven why it was a good decision.

😡 Check how Copilot even accessed confidential emails: ➡️ tuta.com/blog/microsoft-copilo…

It’s funny that in the real world, I can’t open and read a letter addressed to somebody who’s not me. But in the digital world, corporations can open, read, analyze and classify the contents of your correspondence. Let’s hope this changes in the future. Meanwhile, we can’t trust any corporation outside of the EU. Use EU based services, people!

don't worry while copilot is trying its best to crash the AI gravy plane, everyone will rally around the hero they deserve to save themselves - Captain Gemini.

Two weeks ago, the emails I sent from Tuta to Outlook were suddenly returned as undelivered. Now, they are being accepted again. What changed at Microsoft?
in reply to Emvee

@Emvee67 We reached out to them, and they fixed something. Wouldn't disclose what caused the issue...

I wonder about these companies, I mean even Valve is (or was, not checked in a year,.set up a remailer to bypass the Steamy derp) refusing both Tuta and Mailfence email addresses as "disposable" accounts. A lot of other places give me a million bot checks I never had before dropping Google and Microslop.

at the end of the day it all boils down to trust. You have to trust someone with your data but it’s getting more difficult to know who to trust.

keep it basic. Let’s not try to be too smart about it. Email without AI seems appealing. Keep it clean

Something else Tuta doesn't have - push notifications on Android.
Any plans on fixing that?
in reply to Scott

@OpaqueClarity We do, but you need to turn off battery optimization, otherwise Google kills our notification service.
