I love the mini-zine resurgence we are seeing now and the ways people are exploring the format. Check out this zine shaped flier for a Auntie Pho's upcoming comedy show in SF. #DIY #Comedy #Minizine
A small green booklet for Auntie Pho's Comedy Hour. It's printed on a single sheet of paper, then cut and folded into a mini-zine format. The zine lists the dates for the show at June 4th-7th at 7:30 pm each nite at Z Below in San Francisco.
Two more pages from inside the book. These have fun cartoon drawings and talk about the importance comedy during times of fascist control. "FART AT FASCISM The rigidity and audacity of fascism can and must be combatted with whimsy. Weaponize absurdity. Be ungovernable in your playfulness. COMEDY IS PROTEST Speaking truth to power is an inherent aspect of comedy. Meet oppression with ridicule. Reject manufactured fear with laughter. Expose the truth.
