I've always felt that what DNA matching means is that you were foolish enough to give your genetic record to a third party where it will eventually be made public. Unless your doctor orders it for diagnostic purposes and they keep the data, of course.

All that #23andme data is going to go somewhere out of their customers' control.

Who cares if you are (allegedly) 2 pct. [Insert ethnicity here]?
