Organisations seem to be slow to move away from X and establish themselves on the alternatives.
I'm finding this frustrating because one of my main reasons for being on social media is to follow and interact with organisations I'm interested in.
Oh well, I guess it will take time. I'll just have to sign up for more mailing lists and newsletters.

They could set up RSS feeds and license the excerpts and links in their feed posts under creative commons. Then other people would be free to set up unofficial feeds on any social media platform they want, or follow the feeds directly in a feed reader app.
Obviously this doesn't work if the orgs need two-way interaction, but a lot of orgs are just announcement accounts?
(This is how most podcasts work for example, it's why they often say "wherever you get your podcasts" in adverts.)
