That makes so much freaking sense. Why don't we have something that smart here?
Oh, wait... I can picture little kids filling up the bloody toilet with pump hand soap because they think it's funny. We can't even have it at the tutoring center because within two minutes, one of the kids will pump out half the bottle and make bubbles spill out from the sink. They have to make do with sanitizer and deal with it. Even bar soap isn't safe from them (ugh).

Yep, it makes sense. That really looks like an Arch thing. You just heve to imagine how many times you have to clean the toilet and the wall behind. ;)

I lived in Japan through most of the '90s, and I never any toilets like this, or any toilets that would look out-of-place in the USA, except for traditional squat toilets in schools.

BTW, the bath (and the shower you used before you got into the bath) were in a different room in Japan.
