Could be fixed with 1.50.3 but not sure -- can you try with 1.50.3 if not via store then direct link for google play download: download.delta.chat/android/de… ?
f-droid is still processing the build (submitted some days ago).

@radasbona sorry about that. We are now pretty sure it will be fixed with 1.50.3 -- for your info, there have been some security tightenings with 1.50.x (we'll soon report about it in more detail) which in turn uncovered an historic key parsing issue (non-security-critical) that needed a particular fix in 1.50.3
