In short, the US is demanding excessive and unfettered access to information and sensitive personal data of people in the EU, intensifying #surveillance 🙅🏽♀️
A leak of the draft agreeement shows that the Commission is giving into US's demands and risking our rights.

⚠️ The US has a track record of blatant disregard for human rights, inhumane treatment of migrants and visitors, and unlawfully screening travellers' social media profiles - the EU has demanded no protections against this.
⚠️ This could be used to target people who oppose the Trump administration, support trans rights, or are protesting against the genocide in Gaza - they could be detained at borders.
