Remember, any time legislators demand that you give them the ability to monitor your activities using the tired excuse of “think of the children!”: they really don’t give a shit about the children. They only want to monitor you.
If they really think social media is addictive and bad for children, they’d regulate the industry, instead of asking everyone to upload a video of their ID and/or faces to verify their identity.
