Was looking for a good European privacy centric service in the fall of 2022 and Tuta fit the description.
in reply to Tuta

I joined today, just one hour ago. I was hesitant because of changing my email address everywhere, but I don't care. I like ProtonMail, but I find Tuta to be better. Et cum nomine in #LinguaLatina :ablobcatheartsqueeze:
in reply to Tuta

I migrated to @Tutanota barley two months ago, and I am happy with this decision :)
(And excited to try "TutaDrive"!)
@Tuta
in reply to Tuta

new accounts get it from the start, right? So three weeks ago or so XD
in reply to Tuta

just joined recently after watching an interview about post quantum encryption and encouraged from the BuyEuropean movement.

Love the simplicity. Clean and fast service. ❤️from Berlin

in reply to Tuta

I joined up in Feb and moved away from big corporations. My recommendations for Android mastodon.online/@iSabreman/114…
in reply to Tuta

Does the calendar support email notifications, from the browser based version, yet?
in reply to pa27

@pa27 We do not send notifications via email as it would infringe your privacy. You can get notifications via the app directly on your phone. ;)
@pa27
in reply to Tuta

Thanks! I don't use a calendar app on my phone though, just laptop. I like email notifiers, then I am device and app independent. I understand the privacy thing but I hope someday you decide to let users decide! 😀
in reply to pa27

@pa27 The phone email app can also send calendar notifications. ;)

I signed up for the Revolutionary plan yesterday. I should have waited 1 day to make it a Happy Birthday subscription.
in reply to Tuta

I don't know if I have it. I got no message for it...
in reply to Tuta

November 2024. I know the exact date because I'd sent Tuta an email regarding one of the open job positions; I never got a reply though 😭
in reply to Aleksei

@placebo Could you re-send it? We usually always reply - very sorry about that!
in reply to Tuta

I joined October 2023.

Tuta reshared this.

in reply to onkelmorfar

@onkelmorfar Nice, that's a good one! Thank you so much for spreading the word about the importance of #privacy 😍
in reply to onkelmorfar

I can confirm Tuta's security and privacy. I signed up for Tuta months ago, have never been able to access my inbox. Not even to see my welcome message. Now, THAT is what I call security lol
in reply to DIGESTiBULL NEWS

@DigestiBULL_News Try again and make sure to use the correct domain when logging in. I'm sure it will work this time!
in reply to Tuta

When I got tired of trying I deleted my login information. That was quite a while ago so irretrievable. My password wouldn't work and neither would my recovery key.
in reply to DIGESTiBULL NEWS

@DigestiBULL_News If you register a new account, I'm sure it will work this time. Sorry about the issue you had in the past!
in reply to Tuta

Joined in 2020 and never looked back. Replaced all my accounts and custom domains which has worked like a treat. Hoping to get an encrypted drive and possibly a simple document editor in due time. Thanks @tuta for your persistent fight
in reply to Tuta

Joined 3 weeks ago moving away from USA based services, and to reclaim my privacy
in reply to Tuta

Joined in 2021. Paying premium member ever since! Thanks for the great service. Had my PQE upgrade less than a week ago ❤️
in reply to Tuta

It’s quite the quantum of solace knowing that my account is now quantum-safe.
in reply to Tuta

I think it was 2018 when I signed up for Proton. I've been using Tuta as my secondary email since 2021 and now I'm considering making a full migration!

in reply to Tuta

I joined up just last month when I learned about Tuta here on Mastodon, and I couldn't be happier.

I am now moving all of my important correspondence over and encouraging others to join me.

The only problem we found is we'd like to set up our organization with Tuta, but there are limits on what we're allowed to do as an org. We're gonna have to look into it a little bit more.

I love that I can have multiple personal email addresses with one login, as I'm one of those people who separates email functions by address.

Thank you! We are "rule followers", and we didn't want to break the rules if we got an account with you. I'll check in with my co-organizer and see what she thinks.
in reply to Tuta

Absolutely, on the first day it was made available to paid users.
in reply to Tuta

oldest email is from Dec 14 2024. This year I moved my own domain to #tuta. Next thing is to move the domain it to an #eu registrar.

I first joined Tutanota when it was still called Tutanota, and I oddlt had the hardest time remembering the name. I believe that was the end of 2023. I was happy to see the site renamed Tuta. It makes it so much easier for me to recommend the service now. Although, I still have my Tutanota name. I finally subscribed as a paying customer, this month (March 2025).
in reply to Tuta

about three months ago now, loved the calendar and email client, it worked well on SUSE Linux too!
in reply to Tuta

I joined Tuta after Skiff disappeared, so this summer. I was looking for a good email client that is private and free, so I found tuta!
in reply to Tuta

I joined in 2020 and was a paying subscriber from the start and still loving it

ich begleite euch seit August 2019 und bin natürlich im Revolutionary-Modus. 😀 Weiter so!!!

Notiz an mich: Tutanota-Pullover für morgen raus legen. 😁

in reply to Tuta

TutaCrypted since end of February 2025 :)
I joined tuta in 2021.
in reply to Tuta

I'm currently evaluating a secure and encrypted provider for all my email needs - Tuta is one of my favourites and Legend for a year would be perfect 🤞
in reply to Tuta

As a paid customer I am with Tuta(nota) since 28.07.2016. That time a yearly subscription was only 12 EUR. But without calendar and quantum-safe encryption protocol.
in reply to Tuta

I created my account around March 2019 when it was tutanota.de However, you are welcome to give it to someone else should I win.

since March 12th, 2025 - Actually waiting for the 48 hours approval period :P

Btw, any recent news on PQDrive?

in reply to Castilho

@castilho Happy to hear, check in regularly, the approval might be faster. ;) Tuta Drive is in the works, but we do not have an ETA; thanks for your patience.
in reply to Tuta

I was looking for something that has a EU "stamp" on it and found tuta and mastodon as well 😁 I think I created my account about 1 year ago.
in reply to Tuta

@ First I tested mailbox, but when I tried tuta in june 2024, I fell in love… I'm very happy with the service and the team. Bugs are fixed fast, and the team works hard to let us a very nice mail app.

Now I have changed all may mail and degoogle, deoutlooks, deyahooo....

in reply to Tuta

How can I enable Quantum-Proof encryption? And how does it change the communication by email itself??

In the end the protocols remain the same and messages from external servers would still go simply by SSL, no?

in reply to Pau Cabrera

@cch If your account is new (created after March 2024), you are already using quantum-safe encryption for all internal emails. You can also send quantum-safe encrypted emails to others with a shared password. If you choose to send normal emails, these will only be protected with TLS and not quantum-safe. That's the good and bad about email interoperability.
in reply to Tuta

joined back in 2020, and never looked back! Great work, keep it up!
in reply to Tuta

told proton that snitches get stitches and made the switch today!
in reply to Tuta

Joined somewhere in 2016, not sure where to see exact date. Managed to get mirror email address OI.ATUT@TUTA.IO
kinda like those tricks.
Pity I can't find the way to resume my plan since payment is blocked in my country.
Had to go to pm.me, bitcoin supported.
