Mercury News photo in their email for a new Randy's Donuts up in Santa Clara, is actually the Randy's Donuts in LA. Great promo photo by someone, however, lol. (invoking Tom Petty). (the actual new location does not appear to have the giant iconic sign on the building)

I don’t think Santa Clara Stan’s is a chain, but I could be wrong.

My favorite donut shop is this one. It feels like you’re getting an MRI with that bear claw :-)

@MisterArix Don’t worry, they are diagonal across the intersection. There is a convenient Taco Bell to block the view of each other. Just grab a donut from each, and then hit the library for a good book (cafe in the back of the library, if you’re not inclined to read in the park). (You can lock up your bike at the library, not sure about Stan’s or Randy’s.)
