man I've been meaning to do this. How does one get into DIYing pedals with breadboards? Any suggested starting points?

there have been several guitar pedal diy books over the years. None specifically toward a breadboard approach. More typical is veroboard. Are you coming at this from a tech person or a musician?

musician! I have limited experience with electronics (mostly tinkering with Arduino and such)
