A map of the United States with each state color coded to represent anti-trans legislation. The legend values for risk are worst, high, moderate, low, safest, and do not travel. Texas and Florida are listed as do not travel. Most southern and midwest states are listed as high or moderate. The west coast with Nevada, Arizona, Colorado, and New Mexico are listed as low or safest. Most northeastern states with Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Illinois are listed as low or safest, the exception being New Hampshire, which is listed as high.

At the two-month mark of Donald Trump's presidency, the risk for transgender people has deteriorated nationwide. The United States now carries a "Do Not Travel" rating for transgender people.
