Trying #DeltaChat for a few days. But it cannot fulfill one mandatory use case for me : synchronization on more that 2 devices.

Sorry @delta, but for now, I'll remain with @signalapp and @session (and XMPP of course 😉) !

Good job for your work anyway. It's promising.

There are people running it on 8 devices easily. What is the problem in your case? (feel free to DM, or dis-engage if you don't want to debug, that's fine).

Or really @delta ?
How ? I don't get it. First it is written "add a second device", even if there is already 2 devices connected. And when I am trying to add a third device, scanning the QR gives me an error stating that this QR cannot be used to synchronize a new device.

1) yes, it's a bit a known weakness of "add second device" wording that it implies to some that you can only do two.

2) The "cannot be used to synchronize" may be an update-problem. What are the app versions of the respective two devices where multi-device setup does not work?

On Android : 2.33.1 (latest Play Store version)
On Linux : 2.53.3 (latest Flathub version)
in reply to Ori

Latest Flathub version 2.25.3 cannot import from 2.33.1. So you need to either wait for 2.33.x to be available on Flathub or install 2.33.x desktop some other way.
