Big news: Last year, I joined researchers Iin Vanuatu hunting for fossilized coral from the last ice age, seeking understand of how El Nino changed in past climates -- and ultimately, in the future.
Dates for the coral they recovered have now been resolved, and one is almost 20,000 years old, right in the last glacial maximum!! Jud and his team are returning next month to drill one more time.
