I’m not sure if I mentioned the iOS app HealthFit before, but it is the one app I use the most as a runner and for my fitness.

The Apple Watch tracks a lot of metrics, but Apple seems to have left the turning of that data into meaningful information up to third party apps that interface with Apple Health.

HealthFit does a great job at making the Apple Health fitness data understandable and meaningful.

The app is a one time purchase with no subscription. You can become a supporter through a subscription and help out the really responsive dev (I am a supporter since I have been using the app for so many years).

check out Oura, it’s super accurate and you charge it once a week. Bought mine this December on the pile of fsa that wasn’t used.

I’ve looked around Oura in the past. It looks really cool.
