Impressive that there aren’t more safeguards in place to prevent a configuration deleting all of a customer’s account. Google deleted the account of a tenant that has 620,000 customer accounts, leaving customers without service for over a week.

“the outage was caused by a misconfiguration that resulted in UniSuper's cloud account being deleted.”

At a minimum there should be a flag on accounts that require sign-offs from higher-ups to make configuration changes.
