How many of these companies have been fined for similar behaviour in the past? Have they changed it? Yes, they are making their malpractices more hidden and sophisticated.
Bureaucrats don't understand tech well enough to punish them.

Ich bin allerdings nicht betroffen, da ich meine NächsteWolke von F-Droid bezogen habe, den Playstore nutze ich ebensowenig wie ein Google-Konto auf meinem Telefon.
F-Droid und Playstore sollten auch parallel funzen… als Lösungsansatz für normalere User.

The decline is directly related to the AI turd that is being pushed out in Google search. It is not clear when I go to a website what is AI generated, AI curated and what is written by humans. And the results are pure thrash.
