The reported budget for this movie was $320 million, making it the most expensive movie ever made. This movie does look good, but it does not feel like $320 million went into it.

How old is Millie Bobby Brown's character supposed to be? Are we still casting 20 year olds into teenager roles?

Hey look, it's Chris Pratt playing the same character he's been playing for years now.

This movie was merely meh.

I saw Simon Stalenhag was one of two executive producers, but I still wonder how much power he had over the story. Adding the 2nd human-robot pair and turning it into an action flick with a rebellion backstory did a great disservice to the solitary road movie and big reveal of the book. That book made me feel feelings; the movie only made me feel time.
