I wish to start using delta chat once again, after more than a year.

Can somebody please guide me how to go about activating my delta chat once again ??

Go into Advanced -> Relays, long tap on the "relay" that is in the list, select "Edit Relay" and enter a new password there.

it's a third party run chatmail relay, almost all of chatmail.at/relays are run by third parties.

You can add a new relay (even another mehl.cloud address) to existing profile and message your contacts if old relay does not work.

not directly, but why do you need to keep the particular mehl address? In settings/advanced/relays you can add a relay (again using mehl.cloud or any relay from chatmail.at/relays) ... and then send you may send messages to your chats, and everybody will happily continue to chat with you, without changing anything. HTH.
