I am going to spend Sunday night at the Hotel Kresowiak in Siemiatycze (pop. 15,000). This is because the town is located roughly one third of the way from Białowieża National Park back to Warszawa-Chopin Airport. I am very pleased that my life took this completely unexpected Polish turn a few years ago.
