Margareta Nilsdotter (obiit 1630) was married to Henrik Hybertsson, the shipwright behind the Vasa. When he died, she took over the business and directed the final year of construction on the ill-fated ship. (She had no say in its flawed design - that was the king's fault.)
But get this. One of her grandsons was Lasse Lucidor, one of the century's most famous poets, venerated by C.M. Bellman! ❤️
