Does anyone have these things that they love and would recommend:
- Bluetooth speaker (portable)
Not smart. I don't need to ask it anything. Just something I can connect to that will make good music sounds in my house.
- CD player
Something modern that connects to the computer so again I can throw it out to speakers. Or something that connects direct to speakers?
But being able to rip CDs like the olden days would also be good.

Not a big, heavy, standalone speaker setup
Small, portable things I can move around the house with me (or take outside maybe possibly once or twice).
CD thing doesn't have to have more functions. I can play dvds on the Xbox.
We have a Sonos soundbar so originally I was going to go all-in on that but their software is TERRIBLE now so, maybe not

I also used to have a USB external CD reader but I don't remember the brand. I'm also interested in recreating that system so I'll bookmark your post (although I'd prefer if artists would directly allow us to buy a downloadable version of their albums instead of having to go through a CD version)
