#ScribesAndMakers 10, Book cover you like.

This is probably my favourite cover of all time. It contains so many visual puns and the typography evokes the era and it's stylish and minimalistic. God I wish I'd made this cover. Anyway the book is also excellent.

Reading the Obscene: Transgressive Editors and the Class Politics of US Literature by Jordan S. Carroll. It's a very simple cover in black, white, and red, but it contains multiple visual puns, from the clit-like flourish in the O to an image that might be a pen, might be a book, might be boobs, or might be a butt.
