I updated my #junited2024 post to include "You Are Not The Things You Like" by Mike Grindle. I came across this and I felt like it pairs nicely with my post from a few weeks ago about trying to find a partner who has common goals versus common interests.

At different times in life, things hit harder than others. When you are in the exploration phase rather than the remembrance phase.
Those phases don't really have a beginning and end, but the significance varies.
Part of the joy of exploration is the buzz of new. The joy of remembrance is the buzz of warmth.

This post is AMAZING. Thank you for linking to it because it’s exactly my experience with music too. Plus, High Fidelity was my favorite movie when I was in my 20s, more for the record store stuff than the awkward dudes!
