I updated my #junited2024 post to include "You Are Not The Things You Like" by Mike Grindle. I came across this and I felt like it pairs nicely with my post from a few weeks ago about trying to find a partner who has common goals versus common interests.

Hello! I've updated my #Junited2024 blog post and added a post from today that I immediately loved and will bookmark for future reference. There's been some talk recently regarding blogging about blogging, and I think this is one of the best.

I updated my #Junited2024 post (that I am absolute shit at updating every day) to highlight a post I found very interesting about the cost of a gas vehicle versus an EV.

Here's today's #Junited2024 post.

How can you not like a blog named Life Is Such A Sweet Insanity?

J.P. invites you into his life, shares his passions, and posts seriously cool storm photos.

I’ve just updated my #Junited2024 list with this great post: https://krueger.ink/nope/ (by @philomath)

Knowing what you won't do is just as important as knowing what you will do.

Today for #Junited2024, I am featuring an astute post by a blogger I just discovered yesterday, historian Mark Stoneman, @markstoneman, about the difference between broadcast media and social media in the post-Twitter world. https://louplummer.lol/page/junited-a-love-affair-with-blogs

I added “Questions I Ponder” to my #Junited2024 list:

I finally got around to updating my #Junited2024 page for today. Today, it's an entire blog rather than a post. From @alexandra https://alexandrawolfe.ca/ - I'll be honest I'm not sure how I stumbled upon Alexandra's blog, but it's been a great read the last little while. Also, lives in Québec City - a great place I visited twice.

Great stuff! I saw that @jcrabapple also had this for #Junited2024 today. So cool when the same article is shared by more people. A good proof of quality. Added his blog to my reader now. Thanks to both of you for sharing.

Today for #Junited2024 I’m plugging @jhpot, my favorite tech writer for sites like Lifehacker, WSJ, Wired and more. His recent blog posts resonates. Tech is Cool; Business is Boring https://buttondown.email/justinpot/archive/tech-is-cool-business-is-boring/

I've updated my #Junited2024 post to highlight "Tech is cool; business is boring" by Justin Pot, about being excited for the technology itself, but not so excited about it being ruined by the business of big tech.

Chances are good that Lou Plummer has already left a nice comment on your blog post, or directed you to a useful app he’s used, or written a story about his own life that resonated with you. He recently wrote a line about intentionally trying to spread some good vibes, and man, that’s exactly what he does every day here on the personal web. #Junited2024 https://amerpie.lol

It’s not a blog per se, but my buddy (and Podcast Hall of Famer) Evo personally curates a great list of audio fiction podcasts that have recently aired a season or series finale. So this is a list that highlights completed stories you can binge all the way through.

Today’s addition to #Junited2024 https://www.theend.fyi/

More #Junited2024 - today's post: "21 neat things I want to do on my personal blog" from Emma's blog, Word Play. I just thought that a lot of these items on the list are good ideas for writing in general and will probably pull from them.

I've updated my #Junited2024 page

I've been online in some shape or form for a long time, but it was posts like this one from @cory that really inspired me to get back to blogging.

I updated my #Junited2024 post to highlight @sophie "Automated weekly links posts with raindrop.io and Eleventy". I love it when people figure things out, and though I'm not using Raindrop.io or Eleventy, this post was very inspiring for me to get my Inoreader Favs and Saves to Mastodon and my blog.

Pen Pals. Online, in public. I love it. I first ran across this concept on Jerrod Blundy’s HeyDingus blog, but it looks like he was inspired by Jason Becker’s Letters Project. I see that Kev Quirk has joined in too. I’d love to give this a go, perhaps later in the year.

Today’s addition to #Junited2024. https://heydingus.net/penpals

If you’re not yet on the list, let me know and I will add you.

Q: Is it too late to join #Junited2024?
A: Nope. Better late than never. 😍
