So #whatsapp now supports messaging from 3rd party apps (due to changing #EU laws) which is ... interesting, so check which 3rd party apps are supported I see...BirdyChat
So this is currently an early access only app built in the EU and is the first and only app that can interoperate with WhatsApp....

I assume that doesn't change the fact that data from a 3rd party app user ends up in the US.
