in reply to anonymiss • • •Why compare it with rechargeable batteries if it's not rechargeable. Compare it with non-rechargeable alkaline or lithium batteries.
This is a great idea, if it can be made to work well. Carbon 14 only emits beta radiation. That's actually just electrons. However, as with alpha radiation, getting beta-emitting radioactive material inside your body can do damage. ehs.yale.edu/sites/default/fil… (PDF file)
