BBC Winterwatch has been cancelled!

Sneaking the announcement out in near the end of a press release about a podcast, the BBC said "As part of the BBCโ€™s evolving commissioning strategy, Winterwatch will not be continuing."

Please do send in a comment to the BBC if you don't want it cancelled. Encourage others to do this as well. We are losing unique programs that only the BBC can provide. Their charter says "The Mission of the BBC is to act in the public interest, serving all audiences through the provision of impartial, high-quality and distinctive output and services which inform, educate and entertain". This program is the very essence of that mission.
