so #peertube works strangely, at least in comparison to #mastodon , or i am doing something wrong.
if i have a mastodon page open, lets say @user@instance.com and go to favorite a post or follow the user, itll prompt me to pick my instance (and subsequently to log in, if I am not already).
but when i have a video for peertube (like this super cool music coding one https://vid.pretok.tv/w/4e899b56-20ec-405b-8dfd-39e1bcc6fcc1 by @luka ) and i want to give it a thumbs up, or better yet, to follow the channel i cant seem to figure out how to login since my account is on a different instance. it takes me to a login page, but when i put in my full handle, with instance and everything, it doesnt go through as if it expects a login on that particular server.
so are peertube instances simply unfederated?
