#Trump contradicted his #Energy Secy Chris Wright, who warned it may be next year before #gas #prices come down to pre-Iran war levels.
“No, I think he’s wrong on that. Totally wrong,” Trump said to The Hill.
Wright said in an interview on CNN Sunday that the #US might not see gas prices fall below $3/gallon until 2027, even with the potential opening of the #StraitOfHormuz.
Trump claimed the prices will fall “as soon as this ends,” referring to the #war with #Iran.
