Good morning @thunderbird,
My name is Jessica Dail.
I am visually impaired & I attended a presentation about Thunderbird last night.
This presentation was primarily focused on the desktop client, but they did also briefly mention Thunderbird for Android.
I happen to have a BrailleSense 6, which is a notetaker for the Blind & visually impaired which runs on Android 12.
During the presentation, I did some research & found the TestFlight link for your iOS app, which actually calls itself Thunderbird for Android, whenever you attempt to sign into an account.
I'm writing to you today, to provide feedback on the current release.
Here's what I've found so far:
1. The user cannot sign-in to an account. I've tried both Outlook.com & Google.com & they both get stuck in a loop after entering the email address & the authentication process never completes.
2. On the initial setup screen, it's somewhat difficult to find the "get started" button with the Voiceover screen-reader.
Would you be willing to look into these issues & fix them?

Thanks so much for posting this, and I'm going to put you in touch with our Design Team manager! Right now, Our iOS app in Testflight is a placeholder, with very limited functionality, as you're finding out, and it can't authenticate to accounts yet. But we'd definitely like to get your feedback on the Voiceover screen reader for the setup screen. I'll send a private message with our design manager's contact info (and mine) so I can put the two of you in touch!

Awesome! Thanks so much. I look forward to connecting with both of you & helping make Thunderbird for #iOS the best it can possibly be for everyone, including those of us who use #accessibility features such as #Voiceover.
