Seeking boosts/assistance to help identify this art show in #MexicoCity that I saw on Friday night's Canal 6 Telediario Mexico. At least I think. There's no sign of this story on their site. Earlier they did a long segment on registering phones with the government. I had it muted in background. This caught my eye & I'd like to see it. I did a ton of searching, including with the on screen term #chronicasUrbanas. All I was able to do before the story went away was snap pics of the tv!

Chat, can you recommend to me thoughtful, well-researched books about #GamerGate ? Maybe published a little after it happened so that the author has a chance to summarise and reflect?

Note - my sympathies are with the women & other victims, I do not need to need to read about how the perpetrators still believe their behaviour was justified. I can simply open Steam comments for that POV, tyvm!

Techies of the Fediverse, can you help me out here? I have a 3rd generation #Chromecast which has been factory reset and I'm trying to reconnect it to wifi. Supposedly the way to set up a fresh Chromecast and connect it to wifi is with the Google Home app... but the Home app stubbornly refuses to detect the thing, even if I connect my phone to the Chromecast's own wireless network. I tried going through Google's documentation but it's hard to navigate and has little to suggest.

Does anyone have a creative way I can try to activate this thing? Or other troubleshooting suggestions?

Alternatively, if I don't wind up getting it working: any recommendations for an alternate, preferably non-Google, device to buy and hook up to my TV as a replacement? Ideally something that supports the Google Cast protocol (since it's a very convenient way to get stuff to show up on my TV), but I'm open to losing that capability.
