A while back I posted about using an old ereader in the kitchen after I found that the magnetic case sticks to the refrigerator. That ended up not being the most secure thing as it would eventually slide down so now I am trying metal phone stickers and magnets. It is also very easy to remove for charging.

Sometimes using magnets with an ereader can keep it in sleep mode, but in this arrangement and this model (Kobo Nia) it works fine so far.

Is anyone using the BOOX Palma for daily use besides reading? The new version has Android 13 and an upgraded cpu.

I was wondering if I could get away with carrying this and a smaller phone to reduce my mobile use. I mostly read rss, blogs, mastodon and listen to podcasts/music in the car and at work.

Quick shout-out to Bully Pulpit Games. I've just bought a paperback copy of Night Witches, and they supply a digital copy of the game for free.

That's great and lovely, but what I'm really impressed by is that the digital copy includes #ePub and Mobi versions, so I can read it on my #ereader. I've long said that I'd like to see more #RPG publishers produce ePub versions of their books.
