For all of us who have forgotten what this stuff is, water falling from the sky is called "rain" and in moderate amounts it is very beneficial.

Up to 0.30" right now which is more than we've had in 6 weeks.

A view across a section of sloping (greenish) lawn, with a redbud tree (red leaves) and a maple tree (green leaves) and down towards a sidewalk and street. Rain is falling and everything is wet, including the road surface. With luck this will tamp down the fire risk just a bit and wash some of the pollen out of the air. Closer to the camera is a dark yellow birdbath now with a small amount of water in it, and a set of 2 different varieties of irises, only the yellow of which are currently blooming. The missing flowers, with the variegated leaves, would be a light lavender. But they're not here. Again. Anyway, it's raining!
